Which screenshot sizes should you use?
Choose the display you plan to upload to in App Store Connect. Apple’s current required-size overview calls for an iPhone with Dynamic Island (medium display) set, plus a 13-inch set if your app supports iPad. Scaling rules can apply across display sizes when your app’s interface is consistent; confirm the required slots for your submission in Apple’s reference.

App Store screenshot checker FAQ
What app store screenshot dimensions does Apple accept?
Dimensions must match an exact width and height listed for the target display in App Store Connect. For example, 1206 × 2622 px fits the medium Dynamic Island iPhone display, and 1320 × 2868 px fits the large display. Supported iPad apps also need screenshots for the 13-inch display. Use the table below and Apple’s official specifications for your device.
How do I check my App Store Connect screenshots?
Choose or drop up to 10 PNG or JPEG images. The checker reads their actual pixel dimensions, identifies compatible Apple displays, and checks the encoded file format and PNG alpha channel. Select a target display in the results to check a specific upload slot.
Will Apple accept a screenshot that passes?
A pass means the file matches the dimensions, format, and alpha-channel checks for at least one listed display, or for the display you selected. It does not certify the full submission: Apple still checks screenshot content, your app, and the device and language sets required for your listing.
Why does an opaque PNG fail the alpha check?
A PNG can contain an alpha channel even if every pixel looks opaque. Apple excludes alpha channels and transparency. Export an RGB PNG without alpha, or flatten the image onto a solid background and save it as JPEG.
Why does App Store Connect say the screenshot dimensions are wrong?
The exported file may not match the exact width, height, or orientation accepted by the upload slot. A matching aspect ratio is not enough. Check the actual exported image and select your intended display in this tool, then export again at an accepted pixel size.
Are my screenshots uploaded to a server?
No. The checker reads and checks your images locally in your browser. It requires no account, makes no image uploads, and does not send your screenshots to an API.
How many App Store screenshots can I upload?
Apple allows 1 to 10 screenshots per device size. This tool checks up to 10 images per batch and supports files up to 30 MB each. The 30 MB limit belongs to this checker; it is not an Apple upload requirement.
Does this tool resize or fix my screenshots?
It identifies technical problems and tells you what to change. It does not resize or alter your images. Re-export from your original design to avoid stretching, or use the Minimalist Screens App Store screenshot generator to create a consistent set.
